Following the directives by His Excellency, the Commander-in- Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan, that all the detained women in connection with terrorist charges be released in furtherance of the Federal Government of Nigeria position in response to requests by its Presidential Committee on Dialogue and Reconciliation, the Defence Headquarters has kick-started the process of releasing of a number of persons being held in -related to terrorist activities across the northern part of the country. According to the Director of Defense Communication, Brig. Gen Chris Olukolade, thePresident's directives have been passed to the field units and the Joint Task Force. The suspected terrorists will be released to their states governors who will further carry out rehabilitation programmes before these suspected terrorists can be released to their respective community leaders and relations. Here is Gen Chris Olukolade's full statement: “Consequent upon the directives of the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the Defence Headquarters will be releasing from detention a number of persons being held in connection with terrorist activities. “The move is in furtherance of the Federal Government position in response to requests by the Presidential Committee on Dialogue and Reconciliation. The measure which is in line with Presidential magnanimity to enhance peace efforts in the country will result in freedom for suspects including all women under custody.” The Defence spokesman added: “Details of the directives and those to benefit from this gesture have been communicated to field units and the Joint Task Force. “The beneficiaries will be released to the state governors who will be involved in further rehabilitation before these suspects are released to their respective community leaders/relations.” What do you make of this development? Would the government's dual or double-approach stance on its pursuit against terrorism enhance the amnesty programme it embarks upon and proffer a lasting solution to the insecurity challenges facing the country? Is this a step in the right direction?

ACN is a shame to this country! Can't they ever keep quiet when not knowing what to say? All those criticising President Goodluck Jonathan for declaring a state of emergency in the volatile states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa are real enemies of this country. It's very sad and unfortunate that these disgruntled people would do nothing to help proffer solution to the insecurity problems rocking the northern parts of the country butto sit down and attack and criticise destructively the administration of his presidency with no just justification. If he does this, they'd attack; does that, they'd criticise and when he doesn't, yet this bunch of confusionists would still find something to condemne him. I wonder what then this sect of individuals really wants for Nigeria!

Just as many expected, Manchester United did not have to wait any longer to have their hands on that 20th EPL title which they obviously became the favourites to lift having led their closest rivals and last season's EPL champions, Manchester City with a massive 13 points gap as the Citizens lost to Spurs 1-3 on Sunday. But comes next season, i bet you, the Red Devils will struggle and beg for so many things because the most awaited mind games would have arrived England then courtesy of Jose Mourinho's 2nd spell at Chelsea. The competition will be very tough for Sir Alex Ferguson which could eventually force him to resign sooner than expected. The 2012/13 Barclays Premier League newly recrowned champions clinched their record 20th top flight title by beating Aston Villa 3-0 at home thanks to that man, RVP who has been so instrumental for them since his move from his former club, Arsenal who didn't know how to use him to MANCHSETER UNITED. His hat-trick did not only give Uniteds the title but also help him lead the chart of the league's top scorers with four games left to play. My unreserved congratulations to Manchester United and all their fans for clinching the record 20th league's title two more than Liverpool! But hey, breaking my 95 points league record set by my darling Chelsea under Mourinho will not come easily...just have that in mind!

Imagine a world where not even your height that used to speak vulome about you neither the size of your bank account nor the beauty/handsomeness of your person shall appeal or attract then disgruntle female partners of yours any more; for what shall be considered as the "most endowed and sought after quality of a man" by his disatisfied prospect opposite partner shall be the very stuff he got in-between his two legs. They will judge and appreciate you best on its size and not by your height or money. Just imagine and imagine! Imagine when men shall snub taller and beautiful women just to avoid situations where their wives give birth to the tallest daughters who could be at the high risk of developing cancer! Just think of a life where you'll have to win a case in a law court to enable you start raising your own kids because of population explosion... Imagine a world where a 13-year old boy would rather choose to die simply because he was asked by his parents to go and read his book. Imagine a world when two are in a marriage relationship not for the purpose of progression of life but rather for some sort of disgusting sexual pleasures and economics benefits. You know what I'm talking about right? God bless you for reading this article and understanding what it means!
